Trevor Lea-Cox is a well-qualified and experienced Information, Systems and Technology Manager. From 1989 to 1996 he was the Group IS Manager and then Director for a large international Transportation and Travel Group based in South Africa. He was directly responsible for converting the Group’s mainframe-based computer bureau into a large networking company, one of the largest and most successful in Southern Africa at the time. He also introduced Information, Systems and Technology policies, standards and infrastructure that delivered a high level of uniformity and stability into the Group’s 23 operating companies and lowered the cost of IS and IT dramatically. Trevor has subsequently become a very experienced Information, Systems and Technology consultant, particularly in the areas of Planning and Strategy, Intellectual Capital Management and Information Security Management. He has also helped to plan and implement numerous company start-ups, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. He is a Senior Consulting Partner with Popkin Software.
